In Ranchi, Jharkhand’s state capital, a man shot and killed a disc jockey late last night after the staff refused to give him alcohol. The gunman, who was only wearing shorts, was seen on camera storming into the Extreme Bar. With his t-shirt pulled over his face, he displayed the video.

According to police, the accused and four other people entered the bar after it had closed at one in the morning and requested alcohol from the bartenders.

“After being turned down, they got into a furious dispute with the bar staff. One of them pulled a rifle during the altercation and fired a point-blank shot at the DJ in the chest,” stated Chandan Sinha, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Ranchi.

Following the incident, the accused ran away, and the injured DJ was brought to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), where it was determined that he had passed away.

The local police station commander and Ranchi Deputy Superintendent of Police made a morning visit to the crime scene.

To find the gunman and his accomplices, the police are watching the CCTV footage. Questions are also being asked of the bar staff.
