The London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD) proudly reflects on the success of its second major conference of the year, the Global Research Conferences (GRC) 2024. Held from August 8th to 10th, 2024, at the prestigious King’s College, Cambridge, with a virtual component on August 7th, the event concluded with outstanding outcomes and a high level of engagement.

Themed “Sustainability and Resilience in a Changing World 2024,” this year’s GRC provided an exceptional platform for academic and research leaders from around the globe to address critical global challenges. The conference featured a diverse program, including live presentations, virtual sessions, poster exhibitions, and interactive roundtable discussions.

The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries and guests, including VIP Chief Guest Anjana Patel, Deputy Mayor of Harrow; GRC Chief Guest Prof Dr Shiv Singh Sarangdevot, Vice Chancellor of JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University; and Valedictory Chief Guest Cllr Ramji Chauhan, Former Mayor of Harrow. The ceremony also saw contributions from Deputy Mayoress Mrs. Usha Patel, Former Mayoress Meena Chauhan, Inaugurator Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, CEO & Director of LOSD, and Director of the Global Economic Forum Dr. Hari Krishna Maram.

The conference concluded with the prestigious GRC Award Ceremony, recognizing outstanding contributions to research in the fields of sustainability and resilience. All inaugural speakers, keynote speakers, eminent speakers, and student speakers were felicitated with awards and recognition for their valuable contributions.

Looking ahead, LOSD is excited to announce its next major conference, set to take place from November 30th to December 8th, 2024, at Harvard University. This upcoming event promises to continue the tradition of excellence and innovation, providing further opportunities for scholarly exchange and collaboration.
