A vibrant atmosphere of knowledge dissemination and collaboration filled the esteemed halls of New College, University of Oxford, during the Global Research Conferences (GRC) 2024 from 24th – 26th March 2024. Drawing luminaries, scholars, students, and delegates worldwide, GRC 2024 served as a hub for intellectual exchange and collective engagement, fostering discourse, innovation, and partnership.

GRC 2024 was held at the renowned University of Oxford, UK and online from 23rd -26th March 2024. The conference theme was DIGITAL FUTURES: ADAPTING TO THE EVOLVING LEARNING LANDSCAPE: A MULTIDISCIPLINARY CONFERENCE. With more than 70 participants during the virtual and physical conferences representing a staggering array of nations including the UK, USA, Canada, Dubai, Germany, South Africa, India, Nigeria, Jamaica, Tajikistan, Philippines, France, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nairobi, Dar es Salaam, Uganda, Singapore, Malaysia, Spain, Bulgaria, and Mexico, the conference transcended geographical boundaries, fostering a truly global dialogue on issues of paramount importance.

The GRC 2024 Networking Dinner and Inaugural ceremony was a momentous occasion, graced by esteemed dignitaries who lent their wisdom and prestige to the proceedings. Lord Mayor of Oxford, Cllr Lubna Arshad, honoured the event as the Chief Guest, leaving an indelible mark on the GRC 2024 Network Dinner and the Inaugural Ceremony held on the 24th  and 25th of March 2024 respectively. Joining her on 25th March 2024 was Inaugural Chief Guest The Worshipful Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Ramji Chauhan, accompanied by the Special Guest, Madame Mayoress Meena Chauhan, and Guest of Honour Sister Aruna Ladva. The Inaugural addresses, delivered by distinguished speakers such as Dr. Hari Krishna Maram, Paul Fevens, and Dr. S. Vikram Raju, set the tone for an intellectually stimulating and fruitful conference.

The Director of the London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD), Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, welcomed attendees with a heartfelt address, underscoring the importance of collaborative research and knowledge dissemination in addressing global challenges and fostering positive change. While Nur Banu the Skills Initiatives Director delivered a stimulating address on LOSD activities including: LOSD Publishing: Publishing & writing services, Skillflex: LOSD Online Courses (Digital assert), Skillcast: LOSD Podcast, LOSD Skills Live: Short Powerful Talk, LOSD Excellence Awards: Recognising Individuals & Organisations, LOSD Business Wellbeing Retreat: Mentorship & meditation, Global Research Conferences & Global Research Journal: Opportunities to Present your research.  GRC 2024 has provided opportunities for all to engaging live presentations to stimulating Round Table Discussions and participate in SkillsCast: LOSD Podcast. These offerings, alongside numerous other research-sharing initiatives, formed the vibrant tapestry of knowledge exchange throughout the event.

As the conference progressed, the Valedictory Ceremony on the 26th of March provided an opportunity for reflection and celebration, with Valedictory Chief Guest Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana and his daughter, the Mayoress of Hillingdon, gracing the occasion. Keynote addresses delivered by Prof. Hui Fang Huang (Angie) Su, assisted by Student Speaker Charlee Musiakiewicz, and Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, alongside the thought-provoking preliminary address by Dr. Yvette Wohn, inspired attendees and catalysed discussions on pressing issues of our time.

GRC 2024 provided an esteemed stage for authors to introduce their literary achievements, highlighted by the debut of four pioneering books. “The Healing Blueprint: Unlocking the Secrets to Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Well-Being” authored by Prof. Dr. Parin Somani and Yanick Séïde, “Bharat – The Eternal Vishwaguru” by Dr. S. Vikram Raju, “MoonTime: A Guide for Young Girls” by Dr. Geeta Bora, and “Alchemy of Reflections: 540 Inspiring & Powerful Quotes from a 54-year journey” by Prof. Dr. Parin Somani, captured the essence of the conference and its commitment to excellence in research and scholarship.

In recognition of their profound impact on society, each distinguished speaker was honoured with a GRC 2024 trophy, symbolizing their contributions to positive change and societal advancement. Prof. Dr. Parin Somani and Valedictory Chief Guest Cllr Shehryar Ahmad-Wallana, accompanied by his daughter, the Mayoress of Hillingdon, led the ceremony, marking the culmination of a successful and transformative conference.

The GRC 2024 Virtual Conference consisted of Chief Guest Dr Anjula Murmu, Special Guest Meeta Desai, Keynote Address Dr Manju Gupta, Inaugural Speaker Dr Rajnish Verma, Eminent Speakers Dr. Beema Jainab S.I, Dr. Ismatara Reena amongst others. Additionally, student speakers Avirat Jain and Ms. Kanika Chawla, among others, contributed to the virtual conference.
