July 15, 2025 – Poonam Oswal, a distinguished former Joint Director of the Central Hindi Training Institute, Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has been celebrated as an inspiring changemaker in the internationally acclaimed A Book of Kindness.

With an extraordinary 39-year legacy in public service, Oswal made remarkable contributions to promoting the Hindi language and empowering Central Government employees through Hindi software and word processing training. She held pivotal leadership roles as Deputy Director (2016–2022) and Joint Director (2022 until retirement), where she spearheaded key administrative reforms, organized impactful seminars, and coordinated high-level media and Rajbhasha initiatives.

Beyond her official responsibilities, Oswal is a published author, accomplished actor, and a passionate writer deeply devoted to spirituality. She holds an MA in Economics and an ITI diploma, blending academic excellence with creative pursuits. Honored by several literary and cultural bodies, she remains a strong advocate of linguistic and cultural heritage.

Her inspiring journey was recognized globally during the virtual launch of A Book of Kindness on July 12, 2025, followed by the grand felicitation ceremony at the historic Sprinkell Castle, Scotland, UK, on July 15, 2025. The event brought together renowned leaders, authors, and visionaries from around the world to celebrate extraordinary individuals who embody the spirit of kindness and service.
