Boy, 3, Dies After Getting Stuck In Machine Belt At Biscuit Factory In Thane

A three-year-old boy tragically lost his life after getting caught in a machine belt at a biscuit factory in Thane district, Maharashtra, according to police on Wednesday.

The incident occurred on Monday in Ambarnath, as reported by an official.

The boy, Ayush Chauhan, had accompanied his mother, who delivers tiffin to the factory. While attempting to grab a biscuit from the machine belt, Ayush got trapped in it. The factory staff quickly pulled him out and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors sadly pronounced him dead, the Ambarnath police official stated.

The child’s body was later sent to a government hospital for a postmortem, and the police have registered a case of accidental death.
