Several schools in Delhi and Noida were evacuated after receiving a bomb threat over email. Police officers are on the scene, conducting a comprehensive search operation.
The search crews have not discovered anything suspicious yet.

“We are taking all necessary precautions at the schools that have received bomb threats.” “I request parents not to panic because nothing suspicious has been found,” Delhi Police spokesman Suman Nalwa said.

According to Delhi Police, attempts are being made to determine the IP address of the threatening email, but it has not yet been determined who sent the email or from where it originated.

“This is a hoax; a large number of emails have been sent to all schools in order to cause fear. “The cyber cell unit is also attempting to trace the email and IP address,” police stated.

Sanskriti School in Chanakyapuri, Mother Mary School in Mayur Vihar, east Delhi, and Delhi Public School in Dwarka were among the first to get the warning early this morning. Since then, approximately 60 additional schools have received similar emails alleging that bombs are on campus.

Mother Mary was giving an exam when the search operations began, and she had to halt it in the middle. The school declared an emergency and requested that everyone vacate the premises immediately.

In an email to parents, DPS stated, “This is to tell you that the school has received an email threatening the safety and security of the pupils. As a precaution, we are returning the students home immediately.

The school was evacuated when local police were notified. Visuals from the schools showed parents racing to pick up their children.

Bomb detection teams, bomb disposal squads, and Delhi Fire Service officers have rushed to the schools.

Some schools, while not receiving a threat, have sent children home early as a precaution.

Delhi’s education minister, Atishi, verified the situation, stating that nothing odd had been detected in any of the institutes.

“Several schools got bomb threats this morning. Students have been evacuated, and Delhi police are combing the area. So far, nothing has been uncovered at any of the schools. We have constant communication with the police and schools. I would advise parents and residents not to worry. “School authorities will contact parents as needed,” Atishi added in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
