Man From Madhya Pradesh Charged With National Security Act After Peeing On Tribal

In Madhya Pradesh, Pravesh Shukla was caught on camera peeing on another man, and he was later taken into custody, according to the police.

Shukla was seen smoking a cigarette and peeing on a tribal man who was lying on the ground in a viral video. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the state’s chief minister, ordered a complaint under the strict National Security Act against him after the video sparked a political controversy in the state.

According to the police, Shukla was apprehended at 2 am and taken in for questioning when he was trying to evade being arrested by moving from one location to another. Under the National Security Act, the SC/ST Act, and other sections of the Indian Penal Code, a case has been filed against him. Shukla’s wife and parents were also questioned as part of the probe.

When the police brought the victim, Dasmat Ravat, 36, from Karaundi in for interrogation, she rejected the viral video as a hoax.

The video is fraudulent and was made to implicate Shukla in a baseless case, according to Mr. Ravat’s affidavit. The affidavit, according to sources, was purportedly written under duress and has not yet been turned in to any authorities.

The opposition Congress argued that the terrible occurrence is a symptom of a larger problem of violence against tribal people in Madhya Pradesh. This assertion was made with more confidence in light of Shukla’s apparent connections to the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“A shocking video showing (a man) urinating on a tribal youth in the state’s Sidhi area has surfaced. In a civilised society, there is no room for such a horrible deed among tribal young, according to former chief minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath.

The perpetrator should receive the worst punishment possible, and atrocities against tribal people in Madhya Pradesh should end, he continued. “This incident has brought the entire state of Madhya Pradesh to shame.”

Social media users have posted pictures of the accused with Rajendra Shukla, a BJP MLA from Rewa, and Sidhi Kedarnath Shukla, a BJP MLA. The party has officially denied any connection to the accused.

Kedarnath Shukla declared, “I know him because he is from my constituency, but he is neither my representative nor a BJP worker.
