Plenty captivating commercial operations and social service initiatives have taken place at Delhi’s Pragati Maidan over the last ten years. CSR Research Foundation, in collaboration with Woods Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. and ITPO, has planned unique services for women and the elderly at the 43rd International Trade Fair in 2024. Sanitary napkin vending machines have been installed outside the Mela site’s three women’s restrooms, allowing women to receive free sanitary napkins without encountering difficulties due to special needs. In addition, as in previous years, a rest house has been established near Gate No. 10 of Pragati Maidan for the fair’s elderly and disabled visitors, with complimentary tea, coffee, and 6 (six) e-rickshaws available for their convenience.
Mr. Deendayal Agrawal, Chairman of the CSR Research Foundation, indicated that Woods Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd. wholeheartedly supports our humanitarian efforts. The rationale for our efforts to supply sanitary napkins to women is to make them feel more confident when they leave their homes; such amenities have shown to be quite beneficial to ladies during Pragati Maidan festivals.
Our action, however, is merely a step in the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji’s “Clean India and Healthy India” vision. In addition, the institution operates a rest house on the Mela grounds. This system supports the physical abilities of the elderly and disabled visitors to the fair, as well as providing emotional support and recuperation. The public fully supports and participates in the organization’s charitable activities. The CSR Research Foundation intends to continue serving the public with such innovative initiatives in the future.
