Renowned academician, cybersecurity expert, and social activist, Prof. (Dr.) Divya Tanwar has been invited to the prestigious LOSD Excellence Award 2025, to be held at Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge University, UK, on March 7, 2025. This esteemed recognition highlights Dr. Tanwar’s significant contributions to academia, cybersecurity, and social empowerment.
The London Organisation of Skills Development (LOSD) hosts the Excellence Awards annually to honor exceptional leaders across various sectors who have demonstrated excellence and innovation in their fields. Dr. Tanwar’s invitation to this global platform reflects her relentless dedication to education, community empowerment, and digital security.
As a Professor at Somaiya Vidya Vihar University, Mumbai, and Chairperson of the Divey Foundation, Dr. Tanwar has been instrumental in uplifting underprivileged women and children through education, vocational training, and legal aid. Under her leadership, the Divey Foundation has impacted over 50,000 lives, earning it the Best NGO Award 2024 for its transformative social initiatives.
In addition to her academic and social work, Dr. Tanwar is a Board Member of the Centre for NAMO Studies (CNMS) and the RAF in CRPF, where she contributes to national policy development and social reforms. She has received multiple accolades, including the Ambedkar Award 2024 and Mahatma Gandhi Award 2024, for her outstanding efforts in promoting social justice and sustainable development.
