My Father – My Strength, My Inspiration, My World
A father is not just a parent; he’s a guiding light, a silent strength, and the first hero of a child’s life. For me, my father is all of that and more. He is the core of my strength, the voice in my head that never lets me give up, and the heart that beats with unconditional love and sacrifice.
His unwavering positivity, tireless hard work, and burning passion to do something meaningful in life have always deeply inspired me. Even in the toughest of times, he chooses hope over despair, action over complaint. Watching him face life with dignity and determination has shaped my own journey.

Every lesson he taught me, whether through words or silent examples; has become the foundation of who I am today. His dreams for me give me purpose, and his belief in me gives me courage.

On this World Father’s Day, I want to celebrate the man who is not just my father but my constant source of motivation, support, and love. I am, because he is.
Happy Father’s Day, Papa.
Girija Yaduvanshi – Scientist, Glasgow, Scotland, UK
Today, on Father’s Day, I want to take a moment to say something that often goes unspoken: I now understand how hard it is to be the father of the house. It’s not just about fulfilling duties—it’s about constantly thinking of the family first, even when your own needs are quietly set aside. Whether it’s financial stability or emotional strength, you always prioritized us, even on days when you might have needed that support the most for yourself. As I step into the responsibilities you once carried on your shoulders, I’ve come to see the weight of your sacrifices. I used to think things simply worked out—but now I see that behind every decision, every compromise, every late night and early morning, there was you.
It’s easy for a family to take all of that for granted, to assume that’s just what a father is supposed to do—whether it’s manageable or not. No one sees the battles you fight in silence, the pressure you face from the outside world, or the toll it quietly takes on you. And yet, you never complained. You endured with patience, grace, and strength.
So today, I want to thank you—for being the quiet pillar of our home, for putting us before yourself, and for showing what true love and responsibility look like. I may not have seen your worth fully when I was younger, but now that I carry parts of your legacy, I see it more clearly than ever. Thank you for being the father of our house. I’m proud to be your child, and I wish you all the love, peace, and respect that you truly deserve. Happy Father’s Day, with all my heart.

A Father’s Silent Strength – A World Fathers’ Day Tribute
Years ago, a quiet judgment was passed by a JEE tutor to my father: “She’s not an A-grade student. Don’t expect much from her.” But expectations were not lowered in my home. Instead, belief was silently extended, not through loud encouragement, but through unwavering presence. The JEE was cracked, a top rank was secured at Jadavpur University, and a scholarship to UCL, London, was eventually earned. Each milestone was reached not through applause—but through trust that was never withdrawn.
When Dezinecareers was shaken post-COVID, another voice, this time from a well-meaning elder, urged a safer path—”Give up coaching. Find a job.” For a moment, doubt crept in. But once again, my father’s words returned—not as advice, but as quiet direction: “Ignore them. Focus on what you’ve set out to do.”
That quiet support made all the difference.

Today, the recognition received as a Coaching Advocate, contributions to the ICF Global Team, and the ability to uplift new coaches are not just personal wins—they are reflections of a father’s faith that never wavered.
Shortly after, he left us. But the values he passed on continue to live through every decision made and every dream pursued.

On this World Fathers’ Day, this story is shared in honour of all the fathers who uplift without noise, believe without doubt, and empower their children not by directing their path—but by trusting them to find it.
Here’s to the fathers who lead with love and trust—your legacy builds us.
Priti Nath Guru – Nutritionist and Dietician
Parents are the precious gift of God to their children. We often talk about mother, their sacrifices, love and care given to children by them. Fathers are unspoken defense system (don’t show but always try to save children from all odds of life) , sponsor (spend money for all needs), warrior (never gets tired and fight with all hard for the family), savior (always available in the bad phases) in the life of children. Generally we are hesitant in talking or expressing our problems with father and are more comfortable with our mothers as fathers are like coconut, hard from outside and soft from inside. This characteristic of father is again for the betterment of children. They want them to be disciplined. However this characteristic is getting changed in fathers of this generation and hence the bond between children and father is getting stronger.

All above characteristics define my father- a tough, strong and strict person who loves both of us (my brother and me) a lot. May God bless him with long, happy and healthy life

The Wings of Unconditional Trust
From early childhood, the foundation of trust and freedom was laid by a father whose role was never defined by restrictions, but by quiet empowerment. Instead of imposing paths or traditional expectations, a nurturing environment was created—where curiosity was encouraged, mistakes were welcomed as lessons, and independence was gradually built. Practical life skills, often reserved for sons, were taught with equal importance—how to behave alone, manage public conduct, handle finances, negotiate wisely, and remain honest under all circumstances.
Life was never defined by limitations but by purpose. Through constant encouragement, critical thinking and self-belief were instilled. Whenever a challenge arose, solutions were not handed out—instead, thoughtful reflection was encouraged with the question, “What do you think you should do?”
Today, as a doctor and lawyer, the strength to navigate a complex world has been shaped by the values passed on by a father who believed more in character than in control. My voice was never silenced but amplified, even when it differed from his own. He raised not just a daughter but a woman confident in her power and purpose.

Breaking Molds, Building Futures
A belief in agency and education was given as the greatest inheritance. Support was extended not only to a daughter but to all daughters—encouraging dreams, whether in medicine, arts, or law. My father supported both medical and legal pursuits with unwavering faith, never questioning unconventional decisions. Through his guidance, a future was built where freedom, ambition, and identity became the truest legacy of fatherhood.
“Happy Father’s Day to the unsung hero in my life! Dad, you’re the rock that holds our family together, the guiding light that shows us the way, and the safe haven where we can always find peace. Your selfless love, unwavering support, and wise counsel have shaped me into the person I am today.
Your influence has taught me the value of hard work, integrity, and kindness. You’ve shown me that being a good person is not just about what you do, but about who you are. Your patience, understanding, and generosity inspire me to be a better version of myself.
As I grow older, I realize more and more how lucky I am to have a father like you. Your presence in my life is a blessing, and I’m grateful for every moment we share.
On this Father’s Day, I want to thank you for being my role model, my mentor, and my best friend. I love you more than words can express. Here’s to many more adventures, laughter, and memories together!
Monika Srivastava – Writer & Social Activist
My father was a proud Army man, a true soldier not only in uniform but in spirit. He wasn’t just my father—he was my real hero, my guiding light, and the strongest pillar of my life. His dedication to the nation, his courage under pressure, and his unshakeable discipline made him a role model to many, especially his troops who deeply respected and admired him.
Despite the pride he carried in his chest, he remained one of the most humble men I’ve ever known. There was a quiet strength in him, a rare mix of warmth and wisdom. He never boasted about his accomplishments, yet his actions spoke louder than words. He inspired not just me, but countless others with his integrity, simplicity, and selfless service.
To me, he was more than a soldier—he was a living lesson in courage, compassion, and resilience. I have never met anyone like him, and I know I never will. Words often fall short when I try to describe him, because his presence was larger than life. He may not be here today, but his legacy continues to guide me every single day.
