Mayoress Jesmin Chowdhury was born in Shamshernagar, Bangladesh, and completed her education at Moulvi Degree College. After relocating to the UK in 1997, she quickly became an active and valued member of the Harrow community, skillfully balancing her role as a nursery teacher with her duties as Mayoress. 

In her capacity as Mayoress of Harrow, Jesmin works alongside her husband, the Mayor of Harrow, supporting his civic duties and helping to foster community engagement and well-being. A proud mother of three, Jesmin is widely admired for her compassion, as well as her strong commitment to education and family. Through her continued dedication to public service and her passion for nurturing young minds, she remains a source of inspiration to those around her.
