Dharmendra, a legendary actor, is ecstatic. After all, last week saw the wedding of his grandson Karan Deol. In a romantic wedding held in Mumbai, Karan, the son of actor Sunny Deol, wed Drisha Acharya in front of their friends and family. Dharmendra has since posted a touching message on Twitter.

Choosing two old photos of himself, the actor wrote, “Friends, grateful to you all for your good wishes on Karan [Deol]’s marriage ceremony.” The first image is a still from the Shalimar movie from 1978. The following image is a more recent one of the actor.

On Sunday, June 18, Drisha Acharya and Karan Deol exchanged vows. Social media was inundated with images and videos from the wedding festivities. But one image in particular captured our hearts. Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur, his first wife, were shown in the frame blessing the couple. For those who don’t know, Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur have been married since 1954.

In 1980, the actor wed Hema Malini. On Instagram, Karan Deol posted a photo of the priceless occasion and captioned it, “Grateful for the abundant blessings and the support of our cherished family, with hearts overflowing, we express gratitude and gratefulness.”

In preparation for the release of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol is busy. On August 11, the movie will be released in theatres. Dharmendra will appear in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar. On July 28, the movie will be released.
