Janhvi Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya appear to have made their relationship nearly official on social media. Shikhar recently shared a collection of photos summarizing his 2024, and one particular image has captured the Internet’s heart. In the photo, Janhvi is seen lying down with her eyes partially closed, while a pet pooch is cozily nestled under a swing.
The album also includes Shikhar running on a deserted beach, playing with his pets, worshipping a Ganesh idol, and donning a traditional vesthi. The traditional attire was from his visit to Tirupati, where he was accompanied by Janhvi and Orry.
In the caption, Shikhar expressed gratitude for the year and wrote:
“Grateful for all that I could be, for all that I could see, and all that I could do. Praying for more strength, foresight, wisdom, and opportunity going into 2025 — to serve those who need it most to the best of my ability, to learn more about where I come from and where I want to go, to always pick the path of righteousness no matter how tedious, and to go after every goal and dream with the energy, vigour, and conviction of a lion fixed on its prey.”
He concluded with a heartfelt wish:
“I wish you all the same and everything else you have wished for and deserve in multitudes. Happy New Year. Har Har Mahadev.”
Meanwhile, Janhvi often makes her affection for Shikhar known. Recently, she was spotted in a customized t-shirt with his name emblazoned on it. The viral photo, shared by a Mumbai restaurant, also featured Varun Dhawan, Janhvi’s co-star from Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal.
During her appearance on Koffee With Karan 8, Janhvi opened up about her relationship with Shikhar. Host Karan Johar asked, “You’ve had an interesting journey in love—you were dating Shikhar, then someone else, and now you’re back with Shikhar. True or false?”
Janhvi cheekily replied, “Have you heard the song Nadaan Parindey Ghar Aaja? Shikhar used to sing that to me a lot.”
On the professional front, Janhvi recently made her South Indian cinema debut opposite Jr NTR in Devara.
