Internet reports about television pair Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta’s breakup have recently been confirmed by Barkha. After keeping quiet for a while, Barkha finally spoke about her divorce, saying it was one of the hardest decisions she had ever had to make.

After 13 years of marriage, Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta, who wed in 2008, are on the verge of divorcing. Barkha said that their divorce will be finalised soon after keeping quiet about their separation.

Speaking with ETimes, “Yes, our divorce should come through soon. This has been one of the toughest decisions of my life.”

Barkha chose to refrain from sharing the reason behind their split. She said, “I am a single mother and Meira is my priority. On the work front, I have been doing interesting projects in the OTT space. I am open to good projects in TV and films, too.”

In 2022, Indraneil spoke about his separation rumours and said, “No, actually I’ll tell you what. The basic problem with the constant involvement of people in your life is something which happens because celebrities let that happen. I have never let that happen, honestly. Personally, I can talk about myself only. I try and religiously follow that my work is for public consumption, my private life is not. My life is not for public consumption.”

For the unversed, Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta got married in 2008 and have a daughter, Meira.
