The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the final results for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024. Aspirants can now check the merit list on the commission’s official website — upsc.gov.in. The results signal the conclusion of one of India’s most challenging and esteemed recruitment processes.

Shakti Dubey has emerged as the All India Rank 1 holder, followed by Harshita Goyal at Rank 2 and Dongre Archit Parag at Rank 3. The top 10 achievers also include Shah Margi ChiragAakash GargKomal PuniaAayushi BansalRaj Krishna JhaAditya Vikram Agarwal, and Mayank Tripathi.

This year, 1,009 candidates have been recommended for appointment to key services including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and various Group A and Group B Central Services.

The selection process comprised three stages: the Preliminary Examination, Mains Examination, and the Personality Test (Interview). The final round of interviews was conducted between January 7 and April 17, 2025.

The category-wise breakdown of the selected candidates is as follows:

  • General: 335 (including 31 PwBD)
  • EWS: 109 (including 2 PwBD)
  • OBC: 318 (including 10 PwBD)
  • SC: 160 (including 3 PwBD)
  • ST: 87 (including 2 PwBD)

It is important to note that the candidature of 241 candidates has been declared provisional at this stage.
