After an IAS training academy’s basement in historic Rajender Nagar flooded on Saturday, three students perished. According to reports, more pupils are trapped in the basement despite motors pumping water out. Three kids are missing, according to police sources, and a search is under progress for them. An FIR has been filed regarding the occurrence, and three bodies have been found.

Images captured from the event revealed Rau’s IAS Study Circle basement to be flooded. At 7:19 p.m. on Saturday, fire department personnel got a report regarding kids who were trapped in the basement. Five fire engines were sent to conduct rescue efforts. Additionally, there are teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF).

“After water filled the basement of the coaching institute in Old Rajender Nagar, search and rescue operations are now underway.” The Delhi Fire Department released a statement saying, “We fear that several students are trapped.”

“At 7:00 pm, we received information that the basement of a USPC coaching institute in Rajender Nagar has been flooded with the possibility of some people being trapped,” stated DCP Central M. Harshavardhan. The road was flooded as a result of this evening’s intense rain. We are looking into the cause of the basement’s total flooding. It seems that the basement flooded quickly, trapping several individuals within the structure. Teams from the Delhi Fire Service and the NDRF are in attendance. Operations for search and rescue are in progress. One girl student’s dead corpse has been found up to this point.

According to Atishi, the minister of Delhi Water, “whoever is responsible for the incident will not be spared.”
