The High Commission of Malaysia in India successfully hosted the vibrant Visit Malaysia Carnival 2026 on April 4, 2026, at its premises in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. The carnival welcomed a large and diverse gathering of families, students, travel enthusiasts, and members of the diplomatic and Indian community, creating an atmosphere filled with culture, flavours, business engagement, and festivities.
Organised in conjunction with Visit Malaysia Year 2026, the carnival served as an engaging platform not only to promote Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and tourism offerings, but also to reflect the growing depth of Malaysia–India economic and industry collaboration.

The carnival featured captivating cultural performances, live cooking demonstrations of authentic Malaysian dishes, education, tourism and business booths, interactive fun and games, and an exciting raffles draw for visitors of all ages. Guests enjoyed tasting an assortment of Malaysian cuisine and tropical fruits, offering a true flavour of Malaysia in the heart of New Delhi.

A key highlight of the event was the strong participation of strategic industry partners whose presence added a distinctive business dimension to the carnival. Leading the lineup as Platinum Partners were SMH Rail India Pvt Ltd, PETRA Group, Gentari India and Allanasons Pvt Ltd. These organisations represent sectors spanning railway projects and rail engineering solutions, sustainable manufacturing, social capitalism, clean energy solutions, green mobility, decarbonisation initiatives, and agri-trade – reflecting Malaysia’s strategic and future-facing economic engagement with India.
The broader partner ecosystem further highlighted the diversity of Malaysia – India trade and industry linkages, including Ingress Autoventures (India) Pvt Ltd, and Patton International, demonstrating strong collaboration across automotive components manufacturing, and industrial engineering sectors.
In the consumer and hospitality space, strong support from K Hospitality Corp and Travel Food Services reflected the convergence between travel, lifestyle, and consumer services that connect the two nations.
Air connectivity, a crucial enabler of tourism and business exchange, was reinforced by the presence of Malaysia Airlines and Batik Air, highlighting seamless links between India and Malaysia.
By bringing together credible industry leaders alongside cultural and tourism showcases, the Visit Malaysia Carnival 2026 delivered a differentiated platform – combining destination promotion with a strong signal of business confidence and deepening bilateral engagement.
Held at the High Commission premises at Satya Marg, Chanakyapuri, the event witnessed enthusiastic participation throughout the evening, reinforcing the growing interest among Indians to explore Malaysia for travel, education, business, and lifestyle experiences.
