The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) successfully concluded the Class 10 board examinations on March 11, 2026. Nearly 25 lakh students who appeared for the exams are now eagerly waiting for the announcement of their results. Looking at previous years’ trends, students can get a fair idea of when the results may be released this year.

Expected Date for CBSE Class 10 Result 2026

According to the result declaration pattern of the past few years, the CBSE Class 10 results are expected to be announced in the second week of May 2026.

In recent years, the results were declared around the same period:

  • 2025: May 13
  • 2024: May 13
  • 2023: May 12

If the board follows a similar timeline, students can expect the results to be announced around mid-May 2026.

Steps to Check CBSE Class 10 Result 2026

Students can follow these simple steps to access their results once they are released:

  1. Visit the official website cbse.gov.in.
  2. Click on the CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 link available on the homepage.
  3. Enter the required details such as Roll Number, School Number, Admit Card ID, Date of Birth, and the security pin shown on the screen.
  4. Click on Submit.
  5. Your digital marksheet will appear on the screen.
  6. Download and save it for future reference.

Apart from official websites, the CBSE Class 10 result will also be available through DigiLocker and the UMANG mobile app.

Students can also check their results through SMS. Type CBSE10 and send it to 7738299899, after which the result will be sent directly to the mobile phone.

This year, the Class 10 board exams began with Mathematics (Basic) and Mathematics (Standard) papers. Of the nearly 25 lakh students who appeared for the examination, around 14 lakh were boys and approximately 10.9 lakh were girls.
