The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority has temporarily suspended flight operations at Dubai International Airport (DXB) as a precautionary step to ensure the safety of passengers and airport staff.
Due to the ongoing operational disruption, several flights scheduled to depart from or arrive at DXB are being redirected to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), according to Dubai Airports.
In response to the situation, Emirates airline also announced a temporary suspension of all flights to and from Dubai. The airline has advised passengers not to travel to the airport until further notice. Emirates stated that updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available and thanked customers for their patience and understanding, stressing that passenger and crew safety remains their highest priority.
