New Delhi, July 4, 2025 — Google has introduced Veo 3 in India through its Gemini app, giving creators access to advanced AI video generation. The tool allows users to produce 8-second videos with music, sound effects, and speech by entering text prompts or uploading images.
Veo 3 also features a Fast Mode. This mode generates 720p videos at double the speed. AI Pro subscribers can create up to three videos daily with Fast Mode before switching to Veo 2’s earlier version.
To promote responsible AI use, Google adds watermarks and SynthID tags to all Veo 3 videos. These markers help viewers identify AI-generated content. The company has also built in safety checks to prevent misuse.
Veo 3 is available to AI Pro users in India at ₹1,950 per month. Those seeking higher-quality outputs and extra features can choose the Ultra plan, priced at ₹24,500 monthly.
This launch is part of Google’s wider rollout across 159 countries, including Europe and Southeast Asia. The move positions Veo 3 as a direct competitor to other AI video tools like OpenAI’s Sora.
