The moment thousands of Class 10 students have been waiting for is just around the corner. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to release the 2025 Class 10 board exam results on or after May 20, based on previous year trends.
In 2024, results were declared on May 13, and in 2023, on May 12. While CBSE hasn’t confirmed an exact date yet, late May is the most probable time frame. Students are advised to check official portals regularly during the last week of May for timely updates.
Where to Check Your CBSE 10th Results

How to Download Your Scorecard
To access your marks:
- Visit results.cbse.nic.in or cbse.gov.in
- Click on the link that says ‘CBSE Class 10 Scorecard 2025’
- Enter your application number and date of birth
- Download and save the marksheet for future reference
What You Need to Pass
To pass the CBSE Class 10 exams:
- Students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject
- In borderline cases, grace marks may be awarded
DigiLocker: Your Digital Vault for CBSE Documents
CBSE will also upload digital versions of the Class 10 marksheet and pass certificate to DigiLocker. While the marksheet will be available on result day, the certificate typically follows a few days later.

- Log in to your DigiLocker account
- Go to ‘Issued Documents’
- Download your CBSE Class 10 marksheet and certificate
What Your Marksheet Includes
- Student’s name, roll number, and date of birth
- Names of parents
- Marks for each subject (theory and practical)
- Total marks and final status: Pass / Not Pass
What’s Changing from 2025–26?
Starting with the 2025–26 academic year, CBSE is introducing a dual-exam option for Class 10. Students can choose to appear for:
- One exam in February
- Another in April
This new structure aims to give students more flexibility and better performance opportunities.
