New Delhi: The Indian Youth Congress protested against the ongoing paper leaks in several exams and the purported NEET fraud on Thursday in the nation’s capital.
Hundreds of IYC members gathered in Delhi for the protest, which was organized in reaction to the current controversy surrounding the NEET-UG exam. Parents and pupils are incredibly upset as a result of claims of irregularities and paper leaks. BV Srinivas, the chief of the Youth Congress, stated, “Thousands of IYC workers have come out on the streets of Delhi today, becoming the voice of students suffering from the atrocities of paper leak.”

The NEET-UG test, which was administered on May 5, 2024, has been the subject of controversy due to claims of impersonation and cheating. The exam was administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), which has come under fire, sparking demonstrations and legal challenges. The NEET-PG 2024 test has been postponed by the Union Health Ministry; new dates will be released shortly.

The NTA’s head was changed by the government, and a committee was established to examine and enhance the organization’s operations. On July 8, the Supreme Court is set to hear petitions pertaining to the matter.

The Central Bureau of inquiry (CBI) was given the inquiry by the Bihar government on Wednesday, and it has since detained a number of the accused.

A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team intensified its investigation into the alleged anomalies on Wednesday by visiting a school in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, and questioning the principal and other staff members of Oasis school.

Following interrogation in connection with the NEET paper leak case, the CBI discharged two people. These people are recognized as the principal and employees of the Oasis school located in Hazaribagh, who were questioned at the CCL guest house in Charhi, a town in the Hazaribagh area. On Wednesday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) requested that two suspects in the NEET question paper leak case be placed on CBI detention. The Special CBI Court in Patna granted this motion.
