According to a prominent member of the Indian-American community, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming trip to the US is evidence of the two countries’ solid and enduring relationship.
According to Ajay Jain Bhutoria, PM Modi’s popularity in the US stems from the growth India has experienced under his leadership.

“As a prominent member of the Indian-American community, I’m overjoyed to hear that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be travelling to the US. This trip demonstrates the solid and enduring relationship between our two great countries. It underlines the strong ties of friendship and family that bind the American and Indian people together, he said.

According to him, the visit’s importance lies in strengthening the alliance between the United States and India and in furthering shared commitments to free, open, prosperous, and secure ties in the Pacific area.

He claimed that this state visit will be a great chance to strengthen the strategic technical alliance between the United States and India.

“I am sure the discussion could focus on key areas such as defence, clean energy, space, and educational exchanges, manufacturing in India, and fostering greater corporation in this critical sectors,” he said, adding that there is a chance for improved economic cooperation between the United States and India.

“The collaboration between our two countries has a great deal to gain from this visit, especially in the fields of manufacturing, semiconductor production, healthcare, education, and climate change. It gives both countries a chance to deepen their economic connections and forge new paths for collaboration, according to Mr. Bhutoria.

A strong political alliance between the US and India is essential, he added, in terms of geopolitics, to oppose China’s influence in the Asia-Pacific area.

Whether the cooperation takes the form of QUAD between the US, India, Japan, and Australia, or a deeper relationship between the US and India is crucial in solving shared concerns and ensuring stability in the area, he added, both of them need each other to develop a strong alliance.

“Our nations can effectively handle concerns like climate change, workforce development, health, and security by cooperating. India and the United States have a long-standing relationship, and we depend on one another. In response to a query, he remarked, “Our cooperation is based on shared values, interest, and aspiration.

Together, the people of the two nations can do great things and promote a more secure and prosperous future for both of our countries as well as the entire globe. The world may be led by the oldest, greatest, and biggest democracies to achieve better peace and success in economic development, he said.

He claimed that Prime Minister Modi is well-liked in the US.

“The Prime Minister of Australia told him that he (PM Modi) was more popular than the one of the greatest rockstars, and he called him the boss in Australia, where he got a huge round of response,” stated Mr. Bhutoria.

And I read in the media that President Biden said that Prime Minister Modi was inciting controversy with his visit by inviting a sizable number of Indian-Americans to the White House, among other things.

“I’ve heard that there may be a few thousand Americans on the South Lawn for the (White House) welcome ceremony. Because of the enormous development that has occurred in India over the last few years—development that could not have been foreseen earlier—he is undoubtedly very well-liked. India has one of the biggest economies in the world, a sizable market, and is currently a global leader in all forms of provision. Therefore, that undoubtedly lends credibility to Prime Minister Modi’s popularity, according to Mr. Bhutoria.
